  1. Well basically.. He only lost form in 2008… You are actually happy to admit that because of the fact that you yourself said that he was at top form from 04-07… Get it??

  2. i dun care if Sampras may be the true GOAT or if Nadal has achieved more younger, the game of Federer is a thing of beauty. Even if there will be a time in the future when Federer’s records are equaled or even surpassed, nothing, nothing will replace the strokes of beauty of Federer. regardless of winning Slams, no one has ever had a more complete game, more graceful shots, and more variety in his game… not even Sampras. as a tennis player, as an entertainer on courts, Federer is the GOAT.

  5. fed being mentally unstable only faced with nadal is such a BULL. aside to him having a breakdown in 08 against everyone, he is playing regularly in 09. Nadal worked for those points and consequently injured his legs. in order to keep up the level of high demand play from players like fed, nad had to over use his muscle. yet fed on the other hand can withstand such play without any injury. so just give credit to nadal if he beats fed but in long term career between the 2. fed with win record.

  6. my point… arn’t u the one straying off your topic… you stated that you wanted fed to regain his “form” which was during his prime time, 04 to 07. meaning the 08 should be disregarded as he faced mono and many mental breakdown(although winning olympic and us open during the end of the yr) and so many unforced error. so your comparing fed during his off yr to his present play and concluding his footwork is better now. dude!!! thats bias…

  8. So what’s your point? In admitting that his footwork is better than last year, isn’t that the same as to him regaining some bit of his lost form from last year?BTW I agree he is a bit older now… but you have to consider the fact t6hat his playing style does not require as much physicality as much as Nadal’s does…

  9. shouldnt you capitalize on cheap points if it is given to you? otherwise you have no reason why you should be playing there. if you just want exposure and want the play to last for eternity then let the cheap points swirl pass you by. fed is fed and the number one player to date there is no doubt about it, he is no superman to win all his matches though and leave it just that. to disparage him is not admiring the sport of tennis but politicking.
